ABOUT

Hi! My name is Nicole and I am the owner of theprofessionofspending.blogspot.co.uk which was launched in January 2014. I am currently in my third year at the University of Stirling in Scotland and I am studying a Bachelor of Arts with Honours Degree in Journalism. I am currently the fashion editor of Brig, which is the universities student newspaper, I have kept this role running for three years now and I enjoy editing and writing all things fashion related. 

I worked as an intern for Verge Magazine in London in July 2014. During my time in London I worked with successful fashion journalists, editors, designers and bloggers. I interviewed fashion blogger, Atosa Nikkhah, who has been featured in Vogue, Cosmopolitan and Look Magazine, and who I have kept in regular contact with. I have been published several times on the Verge Magazine website, which is one of the biggest student magazines in the UK. At my time with Verge Magazine I also attended photo-shoots, conducted interviews, attended meetings with my editor, and composed daily articles for the website.

I am a fashion writer for Nij Magazine. I write voluntary for Niji Magazine, which is an online magazine used to showcase emerging talent in fashion, art and music. My role includes emailing emerging talented designers, conducting interviews and writing feature articles on designs to promote up and coming talent.
