A Hint of Animal Print

Cape: TK MAXX | Shoes: Next | Skinny Black Trousers: New Look | Jumper: Primark

It is definitely getting closer and closer to winter, the days are growing colder and every time I leave my house without any proper winter gear on I moan about how chilly it is. Today I am in a fantastic mood as I am not at university or work today - which means free time! So I had a long lie this morning (well as much of a long lie as I can get in my house before my mum and brother get ready to go to work/school and argue before they leave the house - waking me up) I got up at 9. I spent my whole morning watching the new season of American Horror Story Freak Show - if you haven't watched this before I recommend it - genuinely my favourite TV series! I then went on my photo-shoot with the wonderful Robyn Dodds who makes me smile with her chat, she even gave me a polaroid photo to keep today - amazing girl. Now I am back in my cosy house watching more American Horror Story, drinking tea and eating biscuits - a fab day off!

Alice in Wonderland

Good afternoon! Today was one of the best day's I have had in a long time. I experienced my first ever photo-shoot for my blog. I have now found my very own photographer, the wonderful Robyn Dodds, to help me establish my blog. I finally feel like I am on the road to becoming a successful blogger and journalist and by making contacts with such prestigious photographers will help me on my path of success. (fingers crossed)

Casual Tan

Morning! Today's post is my #ootd
I've been mixing and matching pieces from my summer wardrobe and my winter wardrobe at the moment as I haven't actually went to the shops yet to get kitted out for winter.
Therefore, I've been using my initiative to use pieces from my summer wardrobe to enhance my winter wardrobe.

Today I am wearing a black body. This is an essential piece of anyones wardrobe! I'm a big fan of tucking my tops and t-shirts into my trousers as I don't like tops overflowing over my jeans or trousers. But ever since I got a body I don't need to tuck it in as it fastens underneath!

I'm also wearing tan jeans from Zara. These jeans just scream autumn due to the warm colour, whap a black chunky belt around your waist and you're done on the bottom half! I decided to team an old cardi of mine with my outfit. This black and cream stripy cardigan is from Topshop and must be about three or four years old now, but add's a lazy feel to the look and also keeps me warm! On my feet I'm wearing black brogues from New Look which again add to the whole causal look of the outfit.

Lush Cosmetics Review

Hello! Lush Cosmetics is definitely something that will be on every girls (and maybe even boys) Christmas list this year. I know myself, that I can't even walk by a Lush store without being pulled in by the delicious smell and beautiful window displays.
It is genuinely the wonderlands of all wonderlands.

Therefore, I decided to write a beauty review on a couple of my favourite Lush products. So if you haven't ever had the luxury of trying either of these products maybe after reading this article you will be inclined to buy some.

The first Lush cosmetic that I am going to use is called 'Buche de Noël.' (£6.50) The Buche de Noel is a perfect stocking filler this Christmas. With festive ingredients including satsumas and cranberries AND brandy. This cleansers helps to bring back that summer glow during the cold winter months. Not only does it look good it smells great! It even tastes yummy..

So this is an essential pre-treatment before putting on your face mask. Take a small amount on the palm on your hand and add some water until it becomes a milky consistency, then simply rub the formula in circular motions around your face (but can also be used on other parts of the body.) Then wash the cleanser off with warm water.

The second cosmetic I am going to use is called 'Cosmetic Warrior.' (£6.50) This cosmetic promises to combat troublesome spots and cleanses and cools the skin. The face mask includes antibacterial tea tree and fresh garlic which cleanse your skin and fresh green grapes to cool the skin.
I smoothed a generous layer of the mask onto my face and left it on for 10-15 minutes then washed it off with warm water again. Don't forget to add toner and moisturiser after using these treatments for an extra glow!

Both these products leave your skin feeling silky smooth and looking radiant.
Forget the frosty winter and say hello to that summer glow again!

It's all about the Coat

Good morning!
It is such a beautiful morning the sun is splitting through the trees and there is a tiny chill in the air - I love autumn.

Today I am wearing a black ribbed funnel neck top under a black and white horse patterned dress I bought from Primark years ago! I love to put funnel neck top's underneath dresses for winter as it just instantly changes the look of your dress and you feel a lot more cosy for it too! Again I love to mix and match more expensive items with cheap items as it often works well - creating a classy look.
I am also wearing my favourite coat this winter, a camel coat from TK Maxx (also a favourite shop of mine) which I bought for £35, an absolute bargain! I decided to add my all time favourite Ibiza shades to highlight the sun is actually out today and there is a blue sky above me! On my tootsies I am wearing a pair of dark brown boots from Primark again - which I always receive lovely compliments for!

Indigo Yard Review

Evening! Tonight's post is a restaurant review on Indigo Yard in Edinburgh.
Indigo Yard is genuinely one of the best restaurants I've ever been to in my life - and the best thing is it is literally only half an hour away. If you enjoy delicious food, amazing music, beautiful setting and the awesome cocktails - I promise this is the restaurant of your dreams!

Myself and D'Arcy went last night for dinner and it was fabulous as per usual. It's actually the first time I've been later at night and it was so busy! With a live band too - the atmosphere was amazing. For my dinner I had a mojitoand Pan seared sea bream, served with crispy chilli gnocchi and pesto oil (I really recommend this dish as it was a real treat to my tastebuds)

I honestly cannot recommend this restaurant more highly - it fits all types. If you want to go for a romantic date, Indigo Yard offers small, warm tables where you and your other half can be cute together. Or if you are looking for a night out the cocktails are amazing and cheaply priced and the live music caters to everyones needs! So if you are ever out in Edinburgh it is the place to be!

A Dash of Detail

Morning! Todays outfit of the day includes a black dress with silver jewel detailing.
I have a massive soft spot for black dresses and when I saw this dress I couldn't say no. I bought this dress in the Next Clearance sale about a year ago and it is a garment I will continue to wear for years. The dress has a lot of weight to it due to the large jewels on the sleeves.

I like the fact that I can either dress  this dress up or dress it down.
By teaming the dress with black tights and a pair of boots I can wear it to work or by matching a pair of heels with it I could attend a more formal event but still look classy!
I hope everyone has a fabby Saturday!

Faux Fur Gilet Meets Paisley Pattern

Morning! Today's blog post is all about my outfit of the day. I am wearing a paisley print shirt from Primark - everyone always compliments me when I wear this shirt saying they absolutely love it and they are always shocked to know that it is from Primark. If you look hard enough you will find amazing things. I'm also wearing a black faux fur gilet from Next. Gillets are a wardrobe must have this winter as you can team them with absolutely anything and they will match! To top off the look I wore my 'Indiana Jones' hat from River Island, which again compliments any outfit and most importantly when in Scotland, keeps the rain off your hair!
Have a lovely day.
